Job summary
Sanofi’s Translational In Vivo Models (TIM) group in Cambridge, MA seeks a Distinguished Scientist to lead the Transgenic Model & Technology function globally, driving genome engineering and transgenic model development to accelerate drug discovery across therapeutic areas.
As Global Head of Transgenic Biology, you will shape strategy, mentor teams, and advance AI-enabled platforms, balancing scientific leadership with operational excellence in a world-class R&D setting.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Developmental Biology, or related field.
- Extensive post-doctoral or industry experience in mouse genetics and transgenic models.
- Proven track record in scientific leadership within pharma/biotech.
Responsibilities
- Lead genome engineering and mouse genetics for in vivo model development.
- Develop strategies for target validation, proof-of-concept, and efficacy studies.
- Identify and implement new transgenic technologies and platforms.
- Advise on in vivo/preclinical study design across therapeutic areas.
- Integrate AI and digital tools into model design and data analysis.
