Job summary

State Street is seeking a Global Head of Regulatory Examination Management in New York to lead the firm’s worldwide examination program. You will govern the process from intake to closeout, coordinating with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to deliver timely, accurate responses across jurisdictions.

The role requires deep regulatory know-how, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence a broad set of internal and external stakeholders while driving continuous improvement and strong

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in regulatory examination management, regulatory affairs, compliance, risk, or related discipline
• Deep understanding of regulatory examination processes and supervisory engagement across complex environments
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional efforts and influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed org
• Strong executive communication skills, including preparing materials for senior management, Boards, and regulators
• Demonstrated program management, organization, and execution with attention to detail
• Experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the global regulatory examination program across jurisdictions
• Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of regulatory examinations
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure timely, accurate responses
• Support supervisory interactions and development of briefing materials
• Ensure clear, concise, accurate regulatory submissions and messaging
• Oversee governance and reporting to senior management and Board
• Identify themes from examinations and drive process improvements
• Lead, develop and mentor a high-performing team
