Job summary

Asana is seeking a Head of Technical Recruiting to lead a seasoned TA team supporting R&D hiring in San Francisco. You will drive operational excellence to deliver high-quality hires, partnering with R&D leadership, People Team, and Finance to design world-class assessment and engagement strategies.

The role is based in our San Francisco office with a hybrid schedule (Mon Tue Thu in-office; Wed optional remote; Fri depends on work).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Talent Acquisition
• 5+ years in management leading technical recruiting teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Data-driven decision making
• Ability to drive organizational change
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies

Responsibilities

• Build global hiring strategy to scale R&D teams
• Partner with executive leadership and People Team to align priorities
• Define and iterate TA roadmap to recruit high-impact Asanas
• Leverage data to identify trends and drive improvements in KPIs/OKRs
• Set ambitious goals and align team objectives with company goals
• Serve as SME for hiring across R&D and promote diversity and inclusion
• Collaborate on headcount planning and recruiting resource allocation
