Job description

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Global Head of Talent Acquisition (New York-based).

The Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Lab49 will play a crucial role in driving the recruitment strategy and processes to attract, engage and retain top talent for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the offer process.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Own recruitment across Lab49’s regions – AMER (USA and Latin America), EMEA (Central Europe and UAE), and APAC (Australia and India).
  2. Provide guidance to the local leads in every region, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  3. Enhance the talent acquisition strategy by identifying market trends and competitive intelligence, ensuring the attraction of the best market talent.
  4. Hands-on recruitment for high-profile roles.
  5. Establish and refine a data-informed recruitment process across locations, adapting strategies based on their effectiveness.
  6. Identify talent pools for targeted hiring rather than high-volume recruitment.
  7. Proactively develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates, utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques.
  8. Lead the recruitment process from screening through to offer, ensuring seamless coordination with all participants.
  9. Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align talent acquisition with dynamic business needs.
  10. Design and own a best-in-class candidate journey.
  11. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with recruitment agencies globally.
  12. Take a key role in the establishment of Lab49’s new delivery center in Latin America.
Qualifications
  1. Proven 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition within the technology in financial services/ consulting.
  2. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws and regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to solve recruitment challenges and achieve business objectives.
  5. Competence to run conversations at the executive level as well as minutely drive the talent acquisition teams across all locations.
  6. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ability to independently run day-to-day recruitment operations and plan, execute and deliver on the strategic initiatives.
  8. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software tools.

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $250,000. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.

At Lab49, we embrace a hybrid work model, offering you the flexibility to work from the office or remotely. We expect our Lab49ers to average 2-3 days per week in person and this could be at our midtown office in NYC or at a client site.
