Gong’s People Team is on a mission to unlock the potential of every leader, enabling them to drive transformative business outcomes, build high-performance cultures, and inspire teams. We’re looking for a seasoned Executive Development professional who will architect and deliver targeted, impactful experiences specifically for Gong’s senior leadership community, including Directors, Senior Directors, and Vice Presidents globally.
Reporting directly to the Head of Talent Development, this critical role leads end-to-end executive talent development—from strategic needs assessment and capability gap analysis to designing, delivering, and evaluating scalable executive learning and development solutions. You’ll serve as an influential advisor, thought partner, and facilitator for Gong’s Director+, shaping leaders who embody Gong’s culture and accelerate our business growth.
This position represents a unique opportunity to deeply influence Gong’s strategic direction and culture at a critical growth stage, ensuring leadership readiness as we scale globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Director+ Leadership Development Strategy: Partner with senior leaders, executives, People Business Partners, and HR Leadership to clearly define the leadership capabilities and behaviors required to execute Gong’s strategic priorities. Design in partnership with global Manager development initiatives. Establish short- and long-term executive development roadmaps that directly support business outcomes.
  • Capability Assessment & Executive Coaching: Diagnose senior leaders’ capability gaps and tailor individualized and group solutions through tools such as executive assessments, 360-degree feedback, and structured executive coaching engagements. Evolve internal and external coaching strategies to drive measurable growth in leadership behaviors and business performance.
  • Design and Deliver Executive Learning Experiences: Architect highly impactful, inclusive, and scalable executive development programs, incorporating experiential learning, real-world application, and senior leader role-modeling. Solutions include onboarding programs, leadership workshops, simulations, roundtable forums, and hybrid learning environments (virtual, blended, and in-person).
  • Program Management and Operational Excellence: Own the end-to-end management of Gong’s executive development offerings, from concept through execution. Define clear success metrics, program milestones, budget management, resource allocation, and ongoing program improvements based on data-driven insights and senior leader feedback.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Advisor: Build deep, collaborative partnerships with senior executives, People Business Partners, Talent Management, and cross-functional teams to ensure executive development initiatives are deeply integrated with Gong’s culture, leadership principles, and organizational strategy.
  • Measurement & Analytics: Develop and execute measurement strategies and dashboards to evaluate the impact of leadership development initiatives. Clearly communicate the return on investment through qualitative and quantitative data to inform senior leadership decisions and future program enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 12+ years of experience in leadership/executive development, talent management, or organizational development roles, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS/technology companies.
  • Deep expertise designing and delivering leadership development solutions specifically targeted at Directors, VPs, and senior executive audiences globally.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling leadership programs globally across multiple regions and diverse business functions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business and leadership concepts into practical, actionable, and impactful development experiences.
  • Experienced in leveraging leadership assessments (e.g., Hogan, DiSC, Korn Ferry, 360-feedback) and integrating executive coaching programs to drive measurable executive growth.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing skills at the senior executive and C-level, with proven credibility and confidence in executive-level facilitation.
  • Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with immediate execution, demonstrating operational excellence and agility in high-growth, dynamic environments.
  • Technologically adept, with experience using hybrid, digital-first learning approaches (virtual, microlearning, blended, instructor-led, LMS platforms, Google Suite)
  • A passionate learner staying current on research, emerging trends, and best practices in leadership and executive development.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and delivering high-quality outcomes consistently.
  • Deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, embedding these principles into all executive development experiences.
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to Gong’s global offices as required.

  • We offer Gongsters a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans, designed to fit you and your family’s needs.
  • Wellbeing Fund - flexible wellness stipend to support a healthy lifestyle.
  • Mental Health benefits with covered therapy and coaching.
  • 401(k) program to help you invest in your future.
  • Education & learning stipend for personal growth and development.
  • Flexible vacation time to promote a healthy work-life blend.
  • Paid parental leave to support you and your family.
  • Company-wide recharge days each quarter.
  • Work from home stipend to help you succeed in a remote environment.
