Cooper Standard is seeking a strategic, commercially minded Senior Director of Purchasing to lead the worldwide purchasing strategy for our Fluid Division. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Engineering, or Business required; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive purchasing and supply-chain leadership in manufacturing.
• Proven multi-region/global leadership of purchasing teams.
• Deep knowledge of metal commodities and global supply markets.

Responsabilités

• Lead global purchasing strategy aligned with the Fluid Division’s growth, profitability, and operational priorities.
• Develop long-term commodity roadmaps addressing cost, capacity, technology, supplier capability, and risk.
• Lead global sourcing for direct materials and purchased components.
• Provide supplier strategies and build executive-level relationships with key global suppliers.
• Lead cost forecasting, market intelligence, indexing strategies, and commercial negotiations.
• Support growth, program execution, and long-term supply stability for new opportunities.
• Develop global processes for identifying and managing supply-chain risk.
