Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Head of R&D for AWM to lead the R&D Product Group across Core, Innovation, and Quality. Located in Houston, Atlanta, Raleigh, or Broomfield, with relocation offered, you will drive strategy and delivery of high-quality products.

10+ years in product development leadership within Power Systems/Control Systems or related industries.
Experience leading large-scale, mission-critical real-time enterprise software.
Strong leadership and management experience in R&D.

Responsibilities

Lead the R&D Product Group, including Core/Innovation leaders and Quality Lead.
Collaborate with Global Head of Product Management and Global Head of Services to deliver quality products.
Oversee a global R&D team of ~150 professionals; foster innovation and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned to the 2030 plan.
Be the tech POC for customer escalations and opportunities.
