Job summary

BlackLine is seeking a Senior Manager, Physical Safety and Security to lead strategy and execution of its global safety, EHS, and life safety programs. This role safeguards people, facilities, and assets while ensuring regulatory compliance and building standards across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

The Senior Manager will collaborate with Workplace Services teams in multiple regions and partner with business leaders to implement security design, vendor management, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of physical security or related services in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of physical security systems including access control, CCTV, visitor management, and emergency notification systems.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and SLAs for security and EHS services.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of global physical security and EHS programs across offices.
• Oversee access control, video management, visitor management, and emergency notification systems.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, IT and project managers for security design, procurement, and commissioning of new offices.
• Manage contracts and SLAs for security guards, integrators, monitoring centers, and EHS consultants.
• Conduct regular security audits, review systems, and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/Cal/OSHA, EPA, and local/fire codes across regions.
• Lead investigations into injuries, incidents, and breaches with root-cause analyses.
• Engage with external agencies, landlords, executives, and employees to maintain a people-first safety culture.
