Job summary

Accion—based in Washington, DC—seeks a Head of People & Culture to shape and execute a global people strategy. The role leads a team of 9, partners with regional leaders, and aligns people priorities with organizational growth and mission impact in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in HR leadership, deep cross-cultural expertise, and a track record in organizational design, talent development, and total rewards. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Extensive experience leading global People & Culture in a complex organization.
• Strong understanding of global employment practices and cross-cultural leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead global People & Culture strategy and operations
• Coach and develop a 9-person team
• Ensure governance, compliance and risk management across regions
• Partner with leaders to align people priorities with business goals
• Evolve HR policies, processes, and systems including AI-enabled solutions
