Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a results-oriented leader to manage the AWS Infrastructure Sourcing and Procurement team responsible for the operational support, performance management, supplier development, and lifecycle management of memory and storage hardware.

You will lead cross-functional engagements with Engineering, Product Operations, and Service owners to secure supply and drive cost efficiency.

Qualifications

10+ years of building and leading large teams in matrixed operating structures.
Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls.
Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

Establish category sourcing strategies for Memory and Storage Infrastructure.
Drive and own executive relationships with suppliers.
Develop category depth and knowledge of industry, supply base, benchmarks, and key players.
Analyze category details to ensure continuity of supply and exploit opportunities for Amazon.
Influence suppliers’ roadmaps, design decisions, and policies.
Lead complex and cross-functional projects.
