Job summary

TruStage seeks a Managing Director to lead its external management and sub-advisory program, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. This role will drive growth of externally managed assets, establish governance, and oversee partnerships with asset managers to expand the general account portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in investment management, strong leadership, and experience building external management platforms.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible investment experience.
• CFA strongly preferred.
• Experience building or scaling external management or sub-advisory programs.
• Ability to lead and develop investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale TSIM's external management platform and sub-advisory program.
• Oversee manager searches, due diligence, IMAs and fee structures.
• Lead governance, research capabilities, and monitoring for the external program.
• Negotiate partnership terms and lead CIO strategic initiatives.
