Job summary

TruStage in the United States seeks a Director of Business Office Planning to lead portfolio governance, prioritization and delivery across the organization. You will shape a 12–18 month roadmap, align strategy with funding decisions, and optimize resources with senior stakeholders.

You’ll mentor a team of portfolio professionals, collaborate with strategy, finance and technology, and deliver transparent reporting on health, risks and performance while driving execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 12+ years in strategic planning, business office leadership, portfolio management, or related discipline.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and governance frameworks.
• Strong background in roadmapping, prioritization and investment support.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate business office planning forums to align on priorities, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Establish and improve governance frameworks for portfolio investments.
• Collaborate with strategy, finance, and technology to align portfolio decisions with objectives.
• Drive governance standards across portfolio initiatives, including readiness and execution monitoring.
• Develop and maintain a 12–18 month delivery roadmap with milestones and dependencies.
• Lead annual/quarterly portfolio planning processes and reporting.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on funding decisions and resource tradeoffs.
• Monitor portfolio health, risks, and execution challenges across the portfolio.
• Mentor and develop portfolio management leads and analysts.
