Takeda's R&D Data, Digital & Technology division seeks a Head of DQS DD&T to set strategy and deliver a global data and AI platform across Cambridge and Takeda's Innovation Capability Centers. You will lead a high-performing, matrixed team with emphasis on validation, compliance and inspection readiness in regulated workflows.

Based in Boston/Cambridge, MA, this role drives transformation of quantitative science by applying AI to clinical data, supporting study design, submissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced quantitative degree preferred.
• 12+ years leading data, digital or technology delivery in pharma/biotech.
• Experience partnering with biometrics or quantitative science and delivering compliant capabilities.
• Credibility with senior scientific stakeholders and cross-functional influence.
• Knowledge of GxP, computer system validation, data integrity and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary DD&T partner for the DQS Leadership Team and oversee strategy, portfolio, platforms and services.
• Co-develop a DD&T roadmap aligned to impact pillars: portfolio decisions, trial design, speed to lock, submissions.
• Manage lifecycle of core DQS technologies and ensure regulatory readiness and validation.
• Lead AI/automation integration into core workflows from clinical data to submission-ready outputs.
• Lead a global, high-performing team and manage budget, vendors and cross-site delivery.
