Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Head of Corporate Security to protect people, executives, facilities, and the company’s reputation.

You will own enterprise physical and travel security policies, executive protection, vendor management, and budget oversight, collaborating across HR, Legal, IT, and Communications. This role moves security toward an intelligence-led, risk-based approach with authority to elevate risks to executives and require remediation when needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate security, executive protection, or security risk management.
• 8+ years leading enterprise security programs with executive protection ownership.
• Proven experience designing protective programs for C-suite executives and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise security strategy and operating model aligned to enterprise risk appetite and global footprint.
• Establish and maintain enterprise physical security policies and site standards.
• Provide independent oversight of site security programs and approve design requirements for new sites and major events.
• Own travel risk management policy, ratings, approvals, and traveler tracking.
• Oversee travel risk program delivered by travel vendors; ensure duty-of-care obligations.
• Lead the Executive Protection program for CEO and Board members, including protective intelligence.
• Run protective intelligence and threat assessment for executives and the company.
• Select and manage protective services vendors; own program budget and metrics.
• Conduct enterprise security risk assessments to allocate resources based on risk.
• Serve as corporate security lead in incident and crisis management; integrate with Business Continuity.
• Lead workplace violence prevention and cross-functional threat management.
• Govern policy lifecycle and reporting; ensure audit-ready controls.
