Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Senior Manager for Digital Manufacturing Systems to lead MES strategy, AI-enabled operations, and multi-site deployments across our global manufacturing network. You will own architecture, delivery, and governance, partnering with IT/OT security, data, and operations teams in a hybrid, travel-heavy role.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing IT/OT, hands-on MES platform experience, and strong leadership in cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing IT/OT with MES delivery across multiple sites.
• Experience with leading MES platforms (Critical Manufacturing, AVEVA, TrackSys, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, iBASEt, Tulip).
• Experience applying AI/ML in manufacturing beyond pilots; knowledge of MLOps and RAG.
• ISA-95 / ISA-88 knowledge; SECS/GEM, OPC UA, APC/FDC, R2R, recipe management, dispatching/RTD, and genealogy/traceability.
• SAP integration patterns; cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS/GCP); containers; Kafka; MQTT.
• Proven Agile/SAFe leadership at scale; strong vendor governance.
• Bachelor's in CS or Engineering; Master's/MBA preferred; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Architecture: Define and evolve MES strategy and ISA-95-aligned reference architecture for Industry 4.0.
• Solution Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery across global rollouts with DevOps and run/maintain.
• AI Enablement: Define AI-for-Manufacturing roadmap integrated with MES; intelligent dispatching and anomaly detection.
• Integration, Data, Team & Stakeholders: Architect integrations across MES ERP, PLM, QMS, LIMS, WMS, SCADA/DCS/PLC.
• Leadership & Governance: Build globally distributed team; ensure OT cybersecurity and governance.
