Job summary

AstraZeneca seeks a Publications Leader for BPM Evidence Publications CVRM to develop and execute strategic publication plans for global clinical and non-clinical sources. You will drive high-quality, compliant communications by combining deep publications strategy with AI-enabled tools and therapy-area expertise.

Collaborate with internal colleagues, investigators, journals, and regional affiliates to deliver integrated external scientific communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with research experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in publications or medical communications.
• Experience in publications field in pharma or medical communications agency.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Broad understanding of drug development process.
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM concepts relevant to scientific publishing.
• Experience in global organization budget/resource management.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with external experts and journals.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within budget.
• Flexibility to manage long-term activities.
