Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Scientist to lead operational method development and enable the transfer of analytical methods from development into robust, scalable, high-throughput lab execution at the Norwood, MA campus.

You will serve as a scientific interface between Analytical Development and ATO, applying LC/MS, HPLC/UHPLC, microfluidic methods, and automation to optimize methods, support transfer, and improve lifecycle performance across Moderna programs.

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent with relevant industry experience.
Experience in analytical method development, optimization, transfer and lifecycle support.
Hands-on LC/MS and chromatography with data interpretation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead operational method development focusing on robustness, throughput, and automation compatibility.
Translate development methods into scalable workflows for routine high-volume testing.
Design and execute method studies for transfer, validation, and readiness.
Provide LC/MS and separation science expertise and troubleshoot issues.
Advance microfluidic analytical methods to improve speed and scalability.
