Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics seeks a senior leader to drive the Innovative Technology and Methodology capability within Analytical Development. You will set strategy for next-generation analytical methods and translate scientific advances into scalable solutions across QC networks.

You’ll build an end-to-end innovation pipeline, partner with multiple teams, and advance technologies through development, transfer, and lifecycle adoption, ensuring regulatory alignment and business value.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related field with 12+ years of industry experience, or MS/BS with 18+ years in analytical development.
• Experience defining and executing analytical innovation strategies and translating science into adoptable methods.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory expectations, and lifecycle management for analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovative Technology & Methodology capability across Analytical Development.
• Build and govern an end-to-end analytical innovation pipeline with proof-of-concept solutions.
• Drive modernization of analytical methodologies including sequencing, biophysical, and other platforms.
