Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager for Harness (Starlink) based in Redmond, WA. You will lead a team, develop supplier bases for wire harnesses and connectors, and align schedules with satellite planning to ensure accurate MRP signals across programs.

You will partner with engineering and program teams to drive on-time releases, risk mitigation, and cost management while supporting aggressive development timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or supply chain management.
• Experience in master production scheduling and materials planning.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sourcing team focused on the harness commodity with coaching and strategic guidance.
• Develop and manage supplier base for wire harnesses, connectors, and related components.
• Align sub-assembly schedules with satellite planning and maintain 90%+ MRP signal accuracy.
• Drive on-time drawing releases and improved pre-release / risk-buy BOM communications.
• Accelerate expedited processes and improve connector/ mechanical procurement efficiency.
• Create automated Line of Balance tracking tools for vendor materials.
