Job summary

NR Consulting is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our dynamic team. You will oversee program management, hardware development, and systems engineering, partnering with engineering and management teams in China to bring concepts to mass production.

The role requires ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping stakeholders aligned. Travel up to 25% internationally to China may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in program or product management.
• Experience with NPI cycles and hardware product development.
• Experience with supply chain operations or materials management.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end product development from concept through launch, ensuring successful program execution.
• Drive program alignment by leading regular syncs and communicating priorities, risks, and actions.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation or recovery plans to keep programs on track.
• Manage interdependencies, resolve conflicts, and remove build blockers.
• Coordinate material planning and build readiness, including resources and factory readiness.
• Partner with factory engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure smooth NPI and ramp readiness.
• Be the main point of contact for commercial topics (quotes, POs, invoices).
• Work with customers’ global supply team for price and delivery considerations.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and drive program success, even without direct authority.
