Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to own the operational management of inbound receiving, storage, and outbound shipments across international sites. You will manage third‑party warehouses, carriers, and freight forwarders while ensuring strict chain of custody for high‑value equipment.

The role is hands-on and strategic, balancing daily floor activities with building scalable processes, metrics, and controls to support rapid hardware growth and global expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse or logistics operations for physical goods.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse or inventory management systems and spreadsheets.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers or carriers, including negotiating SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across international locations via third-party logistics providers.
• Own inventory accuracy and asset tracking for infrastructure hardware and consumables.
• Plan and execute domestic freight and coordinate international shipments; manage carrier selection and schedules.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders; onboarding and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with data center operations, hardware engineering, procurement, and security teams to align delivery with deployment timelines.
• Operate reverse logistics for returns and end-of-life equipment; ensure secure handling and disposition.
• Build and document standard operating procedures and train warehouse staff and vendors.
• Maintain compliance with safety, hazardous materials, export control, and customs requirements.
• Define and report operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Support capacity planning for warehouse space, staffing, and equipment.
