Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Enterprise Asset Program Manager to own hardware asset management across 21,500 employees and 60,000+ devices worldwide. You will define the program strategy, establish governance, and drive lifecycle controls from procurement to disposition.

This hands-on role requires building accurate asset data, partnering with Finance, Procurement, Security, and IT teams, and delivering cost discipline and meaningful savings while scaling to enterprise complexity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise asset management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience operating at large enterprise scale (50,000+ assets).
• Hands-on CMDB/ServiceNow data integration and governance practices.
• Experience managing full asset lifecycle across device types including mobile.
• Experience with ITIL change/release management.
• Engineering mindset toward process and systems integration.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to present governance materials to senior leadership.
• Cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Procurement, Security.

Responsibilities

• Define the program's strategy, roadmap, and operating model; establish governance cadences with Finance, Procurement, and Security.
• Establish and enforce a hardware governance framework with a governance board.
• Own and mature the customization and exception governance process.
• Collaborate across departments and manage global VAR vendor relationships.
• Define and implement persona-based hardware standards and device catalog tiers.
• Evaluate customization and upgrade requests on technical merit.
• Build a compliance and security vetting process for new hardware models with security team.
• Establish controls across the hardware lifecycle from request to disposal.
• Drive improvement of asset database accuracy (60-70% today) and data quality standards.
• Integrate asset management with discovery, endpoint management, CMDB, procurement, and disposition systems; align with ITSM processes.
• Drive automation of asset tracking and reconciliation workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Lead hardware asset financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis (CapEx vs OpEx).
• Own reconciliation against purchasing, AP, fixed-asset register, and GL; resolve variances.
• Develop and report on asset management KPIs and dashboards for senior leadership.
