Job summary

Amazon seeks a Global Health & Safety Audit Manager to lead strategy, governance and scale of AWS’s Internal Health & Safety Audit Program. The role involves shaping audit coverage, mentoring a global team of auditors, and collaborating with senior leaders to drive safety assurance outcomes across regions.

Travel is required up to 25–35%, with a focus on expanding audit methodologies and aligning safety programs with business objectives while maintaining the highest governance standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in conducting workplace risk investigations.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global H&S audit strategy and expansion into new regions and departments.
• Lead and mentor a globally dispersed team of auditors across regions and time zones.
• Engage with leadership to communicate audit strategy, risk posture and safety performance.
• Build partnerships with Operations, Legal, DCHS and SMP to align audit strategy with business goals.
• Navigate ambiguity to determine where audit coverage is needed most in evolving business areas.
• Ensure audit governance and quality meet high standards and drive safety improvements.
