Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to lead Health & Safety initiatives across AWS infrastructure. You will organize cross-functional teams, define success metrics, and drive program strategy from planning through execution.

You will analyze data to identify trends, coordinate risks, and deliver timely updates to senior leadership while promoting scalable safety standards and continuous improvement across global operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Experience leading process improvements.
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the overall Health & Safety strategic projects planning, communicate requirements, negotiate priorities, and define success metrics.
• Apply project management best practices to drive plan execution, mitigate risks, and improve effectiveness to deliver results in a timely manner.
• Continuously assess and prioritize action for multiple projects while driving results.
• Deliver clear and concise project updates and KPIs to leadership teams and effectively answer questions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating and managing strategic, cross-functional, and business-critical safety projects.
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations to promote H&S project adoption.
