Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Operations Engineer for the Starlink Growth team in Redmond to drive initiatives that improve how Starlink operates. You will identify issues, develop scalable solutions, and use data to guide decisions that support growth and efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across design, engineering, software, sales, marketing, customer service, logistics, and accounting to roll out new processes and ensure sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, mathematics, CS, or STEM.
• 2+ years in operations, process improvement, manufacturing, or consulting.
• 2+ years with Excel, SQL, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Apply process improvement methodologies to improve self-service, accelerate resolution, and scale processes across teams.
• Identify issues, determine root causes, and develop solutions for mitigation and improvement.
• Develop and maintain data analysis and tracking tools to monitor performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to create effective feedback loops.
• Support project prioritization and resource allocation with leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage projects and execute to aggressive timelines with clear progress communication.
• Partner with design, engineering, logistics, and operations on new product and process rollouts.
• Codify knowledge and best practices for customer-facing and internal systems.
• Demonstrate ownership and bias for action, delivering scalable solutions.
