Job summary

JPMorganChase, a global leader in financial services, seeks an Executive Director, Head of Business Growth & Entrepreneurship in U.S. Philanthropy to accelerate inclusive economic growth and scale support for underserved entrepreneurs.

You will lead a high-impact team and collaborate with government, nonprofit, and industry partners to design strategies, allocate resources, and drive grantmaking that expands access to capital and opportunities for small businesses across growth stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15+ years in small business development or inclusive economic initiatives.
• Deep understanding of financial products for underserved businesses.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex matrix.
• Experience managing large-scale portfolios and teams.
• Proven partnerships expanding opportunity for underserved small businesses.
• Experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead initiatives expanding access to capital for underserved businesses.
• Mentor a high-performing team of program officers and associates.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive strategic entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Partner with government, industry, and nonprofits to inform policy.
• Set portfolio priorities and advise on investments and partnerships.
• Maintain governance and grant-making controls across the portfolio.
• Monitor market trends and ecosystem gaps to guide strategy.
• Represent the firm with external partners and policymakers.
