Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled and ground support equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems in both military and civilian gear.

This role requires a high school diploma and 3–6 years of experience with GSE, plus the ability to obtain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust. On-site work in Fayetteville, NC with adherence to OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in wheeled and Ground support equipment maintenance.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled and ground support equipment.
• Inspects, tests, and operates equipment to determine serviceability and proper operation.
• Services equipment with fluids and lubricants; disassembles/reassembles components as needed.
• Operates and maintains tools and test equipment; observes safety and environmental rules.
