Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft GSE systems. The role requires working knowledge of Navy instructions, blueprints, schematics, and corrosion prevention.

Travel up to 25% may be required, with the ability to obtain DoD security clearances and read/interpret technical data. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have three consecutive years of experience in aircraft ground support equipment maintenance within the last six years.
• Must meet Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC (Commons Access Card).
• Ability to read, speak, write legibly and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot ground support equipment systems, subsystems, discrepancies and modifications.
• Inventory, acceptance and transfer inspections of ground support equipment.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance as required.
• Maintain aircraft in accordance with Navy, Manufacturer and Company Instructions.
• Document work accomplished on MAF or NALCOMIS and maintain records.
