Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a Compliance Director to design and operationalize the government contracts and grants compliance program. You will build controls, policies, and training to ensure regulatory alignment across our expanding operations, with a focus on FAR/DFARS and private fund requirements.

Based in Cambridge, MA, this in-person role requires partnering with finance and legal teams, translating complex regulations into scalable processes, and leading international compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years in compliance or related fields, federal contracting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with financial services regulations (e.g., SEC, Advisers Act) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build controls and documentation for government-funded programs.
• Monitor evolving financial services and capital markets regulations (e.g., SEC, fund structures).
• Develop compliance frameworks for fund operations (investor communications, conflicts, books/records).
• Coordinate international compliance standards.
• Partner with finance and legal teams.
