Job summary

Peregrine Technologies, based in San Francisco, is seeking a Public Sector Compliance Manager to own and scale our government contractor compliance program. You will collaborate with Legal, People Ops, Finance, Contracts, and GRC to ensure robust controls across audits, registrations, and contract obligations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, meticulous process design, and end-to-end training delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public sector compliance, contract administration, or related field.
• Deep working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, including representations, certifications, disclosure rules, and clause flow-down.
• Hands-on experience with SAM.gov registration and maintenance, CAGE codes, and entity validation processes.
• Experience managing facility clearances (FCL) and/or personnel security clearances in a government contractor environment.
• Ability to build and operate compliance tracking systems and own a compliance calendar and obligation logs.
• Experience administering ethics and compliance programs, including hotline, training, COI processes.
• Located in San Francisco and able to work in the office 4x/week.

Responsibilities

• Own our public sector compliance program – audits, FAR reps & certs, SAM.gov registrations, and contract-level obligations tracking across all active contracts.
• Spot compliance gaps and work with Legal and Contracts on remediation and onboarding of new contracts.
• Run our compliance training program end-to-end, from delivery to auditable recordkeeping.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with DCSA to establish and maintain the facility clearance (FCL).
• Manage the full personnel clearance lifecycle – investigations, determinations, reinvestigations, and records, in partnership with People Ops.
