Job summary

PUMA is seeking a candidate with 2-4 years in golf club or similar sporting goods product development to drive cross-functional product programs globally. You will partner with Product Management, R&D, Innovation, Operations and Sales to ensure on-time development and launches, while managing schedules, supplier coordination and PLM/BOM activities.

The role requires strong PM skills (MS Project, ProChain), analytical acumen, and ability to navigate global teams and time zones.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of golf club or similar sporting goods product development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related engineering field.
• PM skills including MS Project.
• Critical chain project management experience is helpful.
• ProChain software/methodology experience is helpful.
• Experience in PLM system management and BOM creation is helpful.
• Ability to adapt and generate creative solutions for on-time product availability.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow impact.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Product Management, R&D, Innovation, Operations & Sales to ensure on-time development and global launches.
• Create and analyze project schedules; generate scenarios to guide teams.
• Keep project schedules updated and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Tier 1/2 suppliers and integrate schedules into master plans.
• Support ad-hoc cross-functional projects to bring products to market.
• Ensure program commercialization deliverables (sales samples, fittings, demos) are met.
• Assist in creation and management of part numbers and BOMs in PLM systems; coordinate global setup.
• Manage supplier capacity and production priorities; lead cost negotiations and savings initiatives.
• Collaborate with Innovation and R&D to identify future supply needs.
