You will develop sourcing strategies, lead negotiations with supply partners, and drive initiatives to ensure cost, quality, and supply reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong project management and stakeholder collaboration across executives and cross-functional teams, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree plus 5+ years in related field or 8+ years in related field
• Strong knowledge of operational purchasing processes & concepts
• Experience in glass industry, glass manufacturing, or sourcing of glass materials preferred
• ISM and APICS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead global commodity management for glass, developing sourcing strategies for cost, supply, and risk.
• Lead commercial negotiations with managed supply partners.
• Coordinate aggregation of site demands for supplier forecasting and cost reduction.
• Proactively manage supplier base to avoid disruption to ramp plans.
• Drive cost-reduction programs using COO analysis and supplier competition.
• Measure and track supply performance within spend category.
• Communicate effectively with management levels internally and externally.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve quality, technology, cost, flexibility and service goals.
