Job summary

BlackLine seeks a Director of Product Management to lead the next generation of its Financial Close suite and build an agentic financial operations platform that defines the future of accounting and finance. You will own the product vision, guide a multi-disciplinary team, and partner across engineering, design, data science, and GTM to deliver fast, accurate close powered by AI agents under governance.

You will lead a team of product managers, shape strategy, and drive outcomes such as

Qualifications

15+ years in product management, enterprise SaaS.
5–7+ years in leadership roles managing small teams.
Proven track record bringing AI/ML products to market, incl. generative AI or agentic capabilities.
Strong knowledge of AI product development: LLMs, agent architectures, evaluation, and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

Own vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Financial Close suite.
Leads AI-driven agentic close initiatives and governance models.
Expand product boundaries to upstream ledger control and adjacent workflows.
Modernize to a composable platform with cross-team orchestration.
Develop industry-specific solutions for large enterprises in banking, financial services, and retail.
Partner with GTM on pricing, packaging, and external representation.
