Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor engagement, and a sustainable philanthropic program supporting AKP’s global initiatives. This is AKP’s first dedicated fundraising professional.

The hybrid role is based in Downers Grove, IL, requiring 5+ years nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, grants, and donor cultivation, with responsibility for donor CRM (eTapestry) and donor strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience with major gifts and grants.
• Experience developing donor engagement strategies.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor cultivation, stewardship plans, and communications.
• Develop and manage a diversified fundraising pipeline.
• Maintain AKP's donor CRM and reporting materials.
• Translate field data into donor-ready cases for support.
