Job summary

City Kids Wilderness Project (CKWP/City Kids) seeks a Director of Development to lead all fundraising efforts and ensure long-term financial stability. The role oversees major donors, grants, events, and a data-driven approach to revenue using Salesforce NPSP.

The DoD will supervise staff, collaborate with the Executive Director and Board, and drive growth for CKWP’s DC and Jackson Hole programs, including outdoor education and career training for DC youth and older youth in Jackson, WY.

Qualifications

• Strong donor relations and fundraising leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage projects and lead a team.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive strategy.
• Proficient in Excel and data visualization where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the annual development plan and budgeting processes.
• Manage donor relations including major gifts, grants, and events.
• Supervise development staff and coordinate with the Executive Director and Board.
• Develop and implement data-driven fundraising dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate communications and marketing for fundraising campaigns and donor outreach.
