Archer in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Director of Global FRU & Spares Planning to lead the worldwide planning strategy for FRUs and service spares, ensuring material availability while optimizing inventory investment and supply risk. You will own demand and supply planning, inventory strategy, and planning systems, partnering with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to drive performance.

The role requires deep FRU and service spares experience, strong analytical and executive communication

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive supply chain, planning, or operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the global FRU and Spares planning strategy and operating model.
• Lead global demand, supply, and inventory planning for service parts.
• Establish forecasting methodologies for intermittent and failure-driven demand.
• Integrate installed base, consumption, AFR, MTBF, returns, and reliability data into planning.
• Define inventory, safety-stock, and service-level strategies.
• Balance new-buy and repair strategies to improve availability and asset utilization.
• Develop executive recommendations on service, inventory, cost, and risk tradeoffs.
