Job summary

TD SYNNEX North America is seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Quote Specialist to develop accurate, competitive pricing solutions that support growth and customer success.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, customer service, and carrier partners to analyze costs, prepare freight quotes, and deliver efficient logistics solutions for domestic and international shipments, including LTL, truckload, expedited, air, ocean, and specialized freight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Knowledge of transportation modes, freight operations, and shipment configuration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transportation quotes for domestic and international shipments, including LTL, Truckload, Expedited Freight, Air, Ocean, and Specialized Freight.
• Analyze shipment requirements, routing options, carrier rates, and service levels to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure quote accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
• Monitor transportation market trends, capacity conditions, and risks affecting pricing and service.
• Respond to quote requests promptly and provide follow-up support to secure business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, carrier communications, and pricing documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quoting processes, reporting, and efficiency.
