Job summary

Christie Lites is seeking a Transport Manager to oversee day-to-day transportation of equipment between warehouses and live event locations. You will coordinate domestic, cross-border, and international freight, ensuring timely delivery and accurate shipment documentation.

This role emphasizes freight planning, carrier selection, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. You will manage the global carrier network, monitor performance, and collaborate with internal teams to keep events on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation and logistics, including freight planning and carrier coordination.
• Experience with cross-border and international freight, customs documentation, and brokers.
• Experience managing teams and daily transportation or logistics operations.
• Experience in live events, touring, or production logistics is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, forward-planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel; ability to analyze freight costs and carrier performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation operations and support event deadlines.
• Ensure cross-border and international shipment compliance with customs docs.
• Manage the global carrier network and negotiate contracts.
• Control freight costs and monitor carrier performance.
• Resolve freight claims and billing discrepancies with carriers and Accounting.
• Support daily team operations and maintain procedures and vendor data in Nexus.
