Job summary

Worley Group, Inc is hiring an experienced Logistics Manager to lead international freight operations from our Houston region. The role covers global freight management across ocean, air, truck, rail, and intermodal, including drayage and final mile.

You will manage carriers, RFQs, and contracts while tracking rates, capacity, and fuel. The role demands deep knowledge of Incoterms, tariffs, and landed cost, and requires collaboration with customs brokers and Trade Compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project logistics or transportation experience, with at least 4 years in international freight.
• Hands-on experience in ocean (FCL/LCL), tug & barge, air, truckload, LTL, rail, intermodal.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, bills of lading, air waybills, invoices and packing lists.
• Understanding of U.S. tariff programs and landed cost implications.
• Experience working with a licensed customs broker and CBP processes.

Responsibilities

• Global freight management across multiple modes, including final mile.
• Carrier and provider management, RFQs, contracts, and service-level adherence.
• Market awareness for rates, capacity, and fuel; decide on contracts vs spot.
• Review sourcing/routes for duty impact and model landed cost.
• Collaborate on classification, origin, and valuation with customs brokers and Trade Compliance.
• Resolve delays and disruptions; perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage transportation budget, audit freight invoices, report variances.
• Develop and present KPI reports to leadership.
• Coach and develop coordinators and analysts with clear goals.
