Job summary

Subway is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Fraud & Payment Analytics to detect, analyze and prevent fraud in payment environments while supporting strategic initiatives globally across fifteen countries.

This role works with large datasets, advanced analytics tools, and cross-functional teams to identify suspicious activity and model risk, partnering with Subway's Fraud Prevention vendor of record. The ideal candidate will translate analyses into actionable recommendations, enhance fraud risk policies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IS, or related.
• 2–6 years in fraud detection and prevention and/or payment processing analysis for a merchant environment.
• Knowledge of card networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) and related fraud controls.
• Experience working with third-party fraud prevention partners and managing vendor relationships.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn and adapt; openness to AI tools in fraud detection workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fraud prevention performance using KPIs, trend analysis and alerts.
• Analyze emerging fraud trends and payment processing anomalies for risk mitigation.
• Partner with vendors to maximize program effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Manage PCI compliance measures across Subway and its markets.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management with executive-ready insights.
• Enhance fraud risk policies and analytics procedures to reflect evolving threats.
• Investigate suspected fraud incidents and coordinate with internal and external partners.
