Job summary

Linde Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking a Global FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, analysis and reporting.

This on-site role focuses on variance analysis, forecasting, consolidation, investor relations support, and ad hoc analysis across the group. You will build and refine budgets and forecasts, prepare materials for senior management and earnings calls, travel occasionally, and relocate if needed within three years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 5–7 years of Finance experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Industrial Gas experience is desirable but not required.
• Advanced Excel (Power Query), PowerPoint and Hyperion Planning preferred.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Excellent problem solving, process management and time management.
• Ability to act with high integrity and trust.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be open to relocation outside of Danbury within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform vs. prior period and forecast variance analysis.
• Support Investor Relations and Executive Management.
• Provide training and support to global business units.
• Perform monthly and quarterly YoY and sequential variance analyses for Sales, OpEx and costs.
• Drive forecasting for non-OP items including interest expense, taxes and cash flow.
• Reconcile Hyperion Planning with Accounting during monthly close.
• Prepare materials for senior management highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare presentations for quarterly earnings calls and investor/board meetings.
• Monitor macroeconomic and competitor information.
• Advise on corporate reporting policies and forecasting practices.
• Ensure consistency in internal/external reporting.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and model impact of decisions.
• Maintain and build budget/forecast templates for FTEs, end-market sales, FX, etc.
• Prepare financial templates for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
