Job summary

CFS in Danbury, CT is seeking a Global FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for multiple business units. This role offers high visibility and strong growth potential into senior finance leadership.

The position is onsite and focuses on forecasting, consolidation, and performance reporting. You will partner with senior leaders, develop models, manage monthly and quarterly variance analysis, and use Hyperion Planning to improve reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 5-7+ years of finance experience required; mix of accounting and finance is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across levels.
• Advanced Excel (Power Query), PowerPoint, and Hyperion Planning preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, process and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis across the full P&L, monthly and quarterly variance analysis, forecasting and trends.
• Manage forecasting and consolidation across multiple business units and cash flow analysis.
• Prepare financial presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Reconcile data using Hyperion; improve reporting accuracy and forecasting.
• Develop and enhance financial models, budgets, templates, and tools.
• Support executive earnings materials and board-level reporting.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to align reporting and policies.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling to guide decisions.

Responsibilities Of The Global FP&A Manager

• Individual contributor role offering significant exposure to executive leadership, investor relations, and global business operations.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis across the full P&L, including monthly and quarterly variance analysis, forecasting, and identifying key business trends.
• Lead forecasting and consolidation efforts across multiple business units, including analysis of revenue, operating profit, expenses, working capital, and cash flow.
• Partner with senior leadership to prepare financial presentations, identify risks and opportunities, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize financial systems, including Hyperion, to reconcile financial data, improve reporting accuracy, and streamline forecasting processes.
• Develop and enhance financial models, budgets, reporting templates, and analytical tools to support business performance and long-term planning.
• Conduct market, industry, competitor, and economic research to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support executive presentations, quarterly earnings materials, and board-level financial reporting.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting, forecasting practices, and accounting policies.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking to evaluate business decisions and recommend alternative strategies.

Preferred Experience Of The Global FP&A Manager

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, and CPA and/or MBA is preferred
• 5-7+ years of Finance experience is required. A mix of accounting and finance experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across various levels of the organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (incl. Power Query), Microsoft PowerPoint, and knowledge of Hyperion Planning preferred
• Excellent problem solving, process management and time management skills
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
