Job summary

Linde Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking a Global FP&A Manager to lead variance analysis, forecasting consolidation, and management reporting. This on-site role supports Investor Relations, Executive Management, and global business units across monthly closes and ad hoc analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a 4–7 year Finance background, CPA/MBA preferred, and strong Excel/Hyperion Planning skills. Some travel may be required, with relocation within 3 years considered.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, and CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
• Five to seven (5-7) years of Finance experience is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (incl. Power Query), Microsoft PowerPoint, and knowledge of Hyperion Planning preferred.
• Ability to travel periodically, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform variance analysis vs. prior period and forecast; support Investor Relations and Executive Management; provide training and support to global business units; perform Ad Hoc reporting and analysis.
• Review and perform monthly and quarterly Year on Year and sequential sales, OP, and cost variance analysis to explain drivers and trends.
• Perform group consolidation for forecasting process and drive forecasting for non-OP items (interest expense, income taxes, JV income, cash flow).
• Drive data reconciliation between Hyperion Planning and Accounting modules during monthly close; ensure consistency across financial statements.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for senior management highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare presentations for quarterly earnings calls and investor/board meetings.
• Monitor and report macroeconomic, customer/industry and competitor information.
• Provide guidance on corporate reporting policy and forecasting best practices.
• Drive consistency, accuracy and transparency of internal/external reporting.
