Job summary
Wabtec is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A for Inspection Technologies to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews across regions and business units. You will partner with leaders to translate financial insights into actionable decisions and drive improvements in forecast accuracy and profitability.
The role includes supporting a major ERP implementation and the TSA transition, with emphasis on process design, data readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive FP&A, finance, accounting or related experience in a global environment.
- Working knowledge of financial accounting, monthly close, U.S. GAAP, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/BI systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive global budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes with disciplined execution and accountability.
- Prepare and review complex analyses and executive-ready deliverables; review team output and dive into details when needed.
- Lead monthly performance reviews, analyze variances, identify risks/opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
