Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Manager, Food Safety Program to lead proactive food safety leadership at the local operating site level, implementing a risk-based preventive controls program for the Distribution segment across 1–4 sites. The role oversees SOPs, recalls, and regulatory inspections, and partners with EHS, Ops, Finance, Sales, and HR to drive KPI improvements.

The position reports to a GSC Field Director of Food Safety and interacts with senior site leadership to ensure adherence to US FDA,

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute food safety strategies across Sysco Operating Site(s).
• Manage audits by regulators, third parties and customers, and respond to non-conformances.
• Oversee HACCP planning, prerequisite programs, and training within the Food Safety program.
