Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Food Safety Manager to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across WWGS private brands, including Amazon Grocery and Whole Foods Market 365. You will lead facility approvals, due diligence, audits, CAPA actions, and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Quality teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, platform proficiency (Foodlogiq, CMX1, PLM), and continuous improvement of food safety programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
5+ years of conducting workplace risk investigations experience.
Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
Experience leading and influencing your team or organization.

Responsibilities

Lead facility approvals and due diligence for WWGS private brands.
Perform end-to-end qualification of new production sites for WWGS Private Brands.
Maintain due diligence documentation including audits and certifications.
Perform periodic risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Lead CAPA investigations and track corrective actions.
Coordinate internal and third party audits and supplier scorecards.
Provide executive reporting and data-driven insights to leadership.
