Responsibilities include incident response, cross-functional analysis, audits, and ongoing documentation. This role requires significant travel and on-call availability to safeguard product safety at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing food safety in large-scale retail or manufacturing.
• Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Experience in program or project management.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience interacting with local food safety regulators.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.
• Experience applying Food Code across local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust set of compliance KPIs to measure and improve food safety programs.
• Execute rapid response protocols for food safety incidents and corrective actions.
• Project manage escalations across multiple sites with clear action plans.
• Influence relationships with diverse stakeholders from site operations to senior leadership.
• Analyze escalation patterns to identify systemic issues for audits and improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotation with up to 60% travel to support incidents.
• Draft and edit business review documents communicating safety initiatives.
• Ensure audits align with CFR, FSMA, and FDA guidelines.
