Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Fluid Fill Systems Technical Specialist to join the GAME team. You will lead the design and standardization of all fluid fill equipment across General Assembly, including brake evacuation, fill, radiator fill, and related systems.

You will guide global strategy, equipment criteria, and supplier reviews to deliver safe, cost-effective, repeatable solutions. Travel to assembly plants and supplier locations may be required, and you will mentor engineers while advancing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience with machinery, equipment and tooling, with focus on fluid-fill, dispense, metering, evacuation, pressure/vacuum, leak-test, or closely related automated equipment.
• Experience leading design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for fluid-fill systems.
• Ability to benchmark and standardize processes across centers and plants.

Responsibilities

• Direct the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for all fluid fill systems in General Assembly.
• Establish global fluid-fill strategies, standard work, equipment criteria, and MR documentation to drive reuse and scalability.
• Lead feasibility studies, assess capital investments, and provide technical guidance across GMNA plants.
