Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking bilingual and English-speaking Flight Attendants to join the In-Flight Services team. You will be part of a stable, award-winning company known for safety and exceptional customer service.

New hires train for seven weeks at our World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, with a training wage and meals, plus lodging if you live far from the facility. After training, you report to your assigned base to join 28,000 colleagues across 14 bases in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 21 years old at time of application
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
• Ability to acquire and keep a passport and travel documents to enter/exit places Delta flies.
• Complete a pre-employment DOT drug test and comprehensive background check

Responsibilities

• Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks
• Manage unexpected changes in a time-sensitive environment
• Answer questions and assist customers, especially those with special needs
• Demonstrate safety and emergency equipment usage and ensure safety requirements are met
• Prepare, serve, and sell beverages and meals during flights
• Assist customers in lifting and stowing luggage into overhead bins
• Make safety announcements in line with standards
• Be willing to relocate to assigned Flight Attendant base as needed
