Job summary

DeltaAirlines in Las Vegas seeks Flight Attendants to deliver first-class safety and service aboard the global fleet. You will ensure passenger comfort, assist with baggage, and operate safety procedures throughout every flight.

Fluency in English, a 21+ age requirement, and a valid passport are essential. Training is provided at Delta’s headquarters, with opportunities for travel and benefits.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Minimum age 21.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent high school diploma/GED.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Valid passport with at least 30 months validity beyond training start date; non-US passport holders must provide proof of ability to enter the U.S. without restrictions.
• Completed DOT drug and comprehensive background check.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift—including operating beverage/meal carts, opening/closing emergency exits, and carrying luggage into overhead bins up to 40-inch height.
• Capacity to open and close emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 60kg; ability to lift or push food/beverage carts with 32lb force.
• Commitment to safety and privacy of non-public information.
• Ability to work in diverse environments, adapt to changing demands, and support crew.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and possibly extended shifts.
• Willingness to relocate or travel for standby tours.
• COVID-19 vaccination status available or willingness to obtain vaccination as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passenger safety and comfort, offering top-notch customer service at all times.
• Assist with loading and stowing baggage into overhead bins and provide assistance to passengers when needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and emergency systems and ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
• Prepare, serve, and sell drinks (including alcohol) and meals, including varieties such as red meat, beef, seafood, and peanuts.
• Answer questions and provide assistance to passengers, especially those with special needs.
• Proactively maintain safety and comfort during delays or turbulence.
• Administer and coordinate emergency procedures or provide emergency care (e.g., CPR and first aid) when required.
• Respond to and provide clear instructions to passengers during emergencies.
• Make decisions to resolve incidents in line with Delta policies, procedures, and core values.
• Work independently and as part of a crew to achieve tasks.
• Meet deadlines, manage changing priorities, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Exercise safety-aware behaviors in all operational activities.
